Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on 20 July 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin was raised in the space sector as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. Over the last five years, she's covered space policies under Biden and Trump administrations for FOX News. In addition to covering two impeachment proceedings against the president and the presidential campaign for 2020, and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus The reporter also covered a range of other topics. She traveled extensively with both the President and Vice-President included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan that she made along with Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for over a decade before being hired by the CBS network. She was awarded an Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in creating documentary films for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a graduate in journalism from Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter live in Washington, D.C.
